Trot in Time Carriage Tours in the historic town of Lunenburg, NS, is seeking a friendly and dedicated Horse and Carriage Tour Driver to join our team for the upcoming season. This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors, partner with majestic horses, and share the charm of Lunenburg with guests from around the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive horse-drawn carriages through scenic routes in Lunenburg while providing engaging and informative tours about the town’s history and landmarks.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers and horses at all times.
• Groom, feed, and care for horses before, during, and after shifts.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of carriages and equipment.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Adhere to local laws governing horse-drawn carriage operations.

Qualifications

• Experience working with horses (carriage driving experience preferred but not required; training will be provided).
• Strong customer service skills with an outgoing and friendly personality.
• Physically fit to handle the demands of working with horses and carriages outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license (required) and First Aid certification (preferred, but not required).
• Knowledge of Lunenburg’s history or a willingness to learn.

Schedule
